Team from Aizawa Hospital visits Min-Sheng General Hospital

A team from Aizawa Hospital in Matsumoto City, Japan, recently visited Min-Sheng General Hospital to gain an understanding of the challenges and fallout from JCI accreditation. The 100-year old hospital is aiming to become the fourth hospital in Japan to receive JCI accreditation, and the visiting team was interested in receiving feed-back from a similarly sized hospital. The guests elected to visit Min-Sheng which, like Aizawa Hospital, operates about 500 beds, and was the first hospital in Taiwan to be accredited by Joint Commission International.
