Min-Sheng recently completed the reengineering
process that transformed its medical laboratory in one of the most advanced
facilities in Taiwan. Fully automated, the system uses barcodes and
Radio-Frequency Identification (RFID) to manage the routing, dispatch,
packaging, and storage of all samples.
The system fully
integrates the latest information technology and was the first in the country
to use the Path Finder 900 Management System that allows for each tested
specimen to be traced at any time. By limiting human involvement to a minimum,
the system can provide faster results (useful in emergency situations) and
significantly reduce the risks of infection error.
